At Lapels, our meticulous dry cleaning process begins with a thorough inspection of each garment to identify any stains or problem areas. Our experienced team then treats specific stains using specialized cleaning agents. Next, the garments are carefully placed in our state-of-the-art machine, which resembles a washing machine but uses a solvent instead of water. This machine gently agitates the clothes to loosen dirt and stains, while the solvent is continuously drained and filtered to ensure optimal cleanliness.
Once the cleaning cycle is completed, we proceed with a meticulous drying process to eliminate any remaining solvent. This can involve tumbling the garments in a low-heat dryer or utilizing pressurized air to evaporate the solvent. Finally, our skilled professionals press or steam-finish the clothes to restore their original shape and appearance before promptly returning them to our valued customers.
Dry cleaning is the preferred method for delicate fabrics, intricate garments, or items that are not suitable for water-based cleaning due to potential damage or shrinkage.
